PR Business Support Supervisor – Qatar

Supervise the coordinate corporate local events such as board meetings, town hall meeting, Annual gala dinner, Qatargas sports events, social investment activities, tournaments, signing ceremonies, milestone celebrations and inaugurations, protocols, also assist in preparing departments budget and related reports. Key Job Accountabilities Contribute and assist the PR Operations Head in setting the Division’s strategic objectives and supervise subordinates, monitoring progress to ensure performance against set objectives. Prepare and produce the annual Reputation Management Plan for Qatargas and supervise when required the implementation of the operations section processes including establishing priorities and deliverables. Supervise all activities related to the efficient and successful delivery of company’s corporate events approved on the corporate calendar including winter camps, town hall meetings, annual gala dinner, long service awards ceremonies, Qatargas sports events, signing ceremonies, milestone celebrations and inaugurations. Coordinate tenders and processes for all contracts within PR Operation’s area in accordance with the Annual Reputation Management Plan and coordinate events and other key deliverables to ensure successful deliver of the Plan. Supervise on protocol related matters in executing corporate events such as signing ceremonies and required arrangements for VIP visits and official delegation visits including VIP arrival and departure arrangements at Doha International Airport, hotel accommodation and functions, transportation and supervision of all passes and other official documentation required for site visits. Supervise in the procurement processes, supply, storage, inventory, quality, design and issuing of the Company’s corporate gifts, employee annual gifts, VIP gifts to ensure all processes are done in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist and prepare if required monthly budget reports, review and forecasts for review by supervisor and maintain records of the same. Establish and maintain appropriate local and regional networks with relevant suppliers/contractors of event and media agencies and venues providers, media representatives and other give-away items. Supervise business related tasks including SAP processes of the Division, reports, existing call of agreement and contracts with suppliers to ensure that services levels are adhered to. 6 years’ experience in a public relations department. Proficient in English and Arabic.
Computer literacy, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
Well-developed problem solving Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
