Head of Corporate Social Responsibility – Qatar

Plan, lead, and direct the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Division in developing, implementing and reviewing CSR strategy and the company’s sustainability agenda to ensure that Qatargas achieves its corporate objectives. Requires strong communication skills, planning and organizing abilities and theability to plan and develop initiatives to enhance and protect the Company’s reputation as a premier LNG company with its key stakeholders.
Operating and networking within a dynamic, multi-cultural work environment with competing priorities, the roleholder must apply interpersonal and communication skills to change and influence Company culture regarding sponsorships, social investment and management of its sustainability affairs.

Minimum requirements : Bachelors degree in Public Relations, media or Business Administration preferred.
10 years’ experience with a minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a Public Relations environment.
Specific exposure to corporate social corporate responsibility and sustainability.
Experience within an operational oil and gas environment would be an additional asset. Proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic would be considered an asset.
Professional-level interpersonal and communication skills coupled with significant influencing capability.
Project management and team building skills.
Computer literacy (MS Office, including statistical analysis software).
Professional level of report writing and strong presentation skills to inform and communicate various reports, briefings and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
