Commercial Manager – Qatar

1. Build and maintain constructive relations with all stakeholders at different levels; 2. Display effective communication and proven presentation skills to be able to influence at the highest levels, whilst maintaining excellent listening skills; 3. Draft, review, distribute and follow-up to achieve full execution of all Joint Facilities Documents (new agreements and amendments) which include, but are not limited to ownership, operating services, utilities supply, land lease, cost sharing and cost recovery; 4. Take a lead role in contractual and commercial negotiations in accordance with contracting principles, ensuring risk mitigation and commercial optimisation; 5. Willing to be ‘hands on’ to manage all types of agreement, large and small related to the respective facilities and assist Commercial Assets Cordinator with drafting and development of such agreements; 6. Liaise with the facilities’ Owners regarding the proposed comments/changes, review such comments/changes and make recommendations on inclusion or rejection 7. Conduct reviews of new third-party agreements, compile issues, identify and make recommendations on deviations from Qatargas standards, request changes, obtain internal execution and ensure internal distribution and system updates once agreements are fully executed; Liaise extensively with Qatargas functions to ensure that the business deal is memorialized in all drafts of the agreement, work order or amendment; Minium Requirements Minimum 10 years related experience
Relevant Commercial background Essential
Business- or Legal degree or related
Articulate, clear and concise communicator
Demonstrated ability to manage and build external partner relationships
Creates collaborative working environments
Confident in confrontational circumstances, with drive to work through conflicts
Experienced negotiator with strong influencing skills
Detailed understanding of joint venture agreements and commercial contracts
