Manage in coordination with Line Management and Line Supervision the planning and execution of all training and competency programs in Operation Group within the planned time frame and in compliance to the approved expense plan. Develop and implement training strategies, plans and processes to support the Operations Group departments’ objectives for Staff technical competencies and integration of Qatari Nationals. Responsible for planning, organizing, leading and supervising training section and continuously enhancing the processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered. Confer with management to identify training needs based on company direction and facilities changes, and coordinates with Asset and Division Managers, Division Heads, Superintendents and Line Supervision, and other Department Managers / Heads to ensure that personnel staff training and Qataris development meet organizational objectives and relevant certifications. Implement training and staff development programs, using effective methods of classroom training, on-the-job training, Vendor Training, Technical training, Simulator training, Online training and procedures competency assessment. Develop Technical Core Competencies of workforce, and deploy competency job profiles in the Operations organization, on Onshore and Offshore facilities. Plan and implement all Operations Simulators upgrades, and develop new Models to meet Company new projects requirements for staff readiness and Plant facilities changes. Analyze in coordination with training leads and coordinators the training and competency needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs. Ensure training statutory requirements are met and certification levels are attained for Onshore and Offshore positions. Evaluate the training and Development programs for Qatari Nationals, Trainees and Graduates and ensure they attain the required competency and certification levels.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering together with 15 years full-time diversified Oil and Gas Operations experience, out of which 5 years at Training leadership Level. Training and competency experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Experience with Simulators development, and training of Boardroom operators. Ability to self-organize and pay attention to details in planning. Self-starter and able to anticipate the changes required. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse workforce. Problem solving skills. Exhibits professional conduct and integrity in business practices. Excellent written and spoken English skills and Computer literate.
