Credit Specialist – Qatar

Responsible for assessing credit risks and credit -worthiness of rated and non-rated counterparties, such as potential and existing customers, financial institutions and other counterparties; determining credit requirements and developing innovative credit risk solutions.
Essential requirements of the positions include the ability to provide quantitative and qualitative analysis relying on financial statements and other data to establish credit limits with the use of the credit scoring model.
Responsible for the establishment, maintenance and monitoring of credit limits extended on behalf of the various legal entities to respective customers, financial institutions and other counterparties.
Responsible for securing and maintaining credit support documents (e.g. Letters of Credit, Guaranties, etc.) when required.
Prepare daily/weekly credit reports for the management and continuously monitor the ongoing credit quality of the customers and financial institutions.
Good knowledge of oil & gas related commercial agreements is required to review and advise on credit terms of standard energy industry master agreements.
Maintain functional and technical risk management knowledge to the level required to develop a best practice credit risk management function.
Understanding of the key elements of Credit Risk Management, in particular credit risk mitigation strategies and structured credit solutions with non-investment grade companies. Specific Accountabilities Comply with Financing Agreements and Credit Policy in terms of credit quality of counterparties the company is dealing with.
Participate in control catalogue and risk analysis review. Annual validation of P&Ps. Compliance to P&Ps leading to satisfactory audit reports.
Keeping company credit exposures within set risk bearing limits. Good control over credit limits and ensuring deals carried outside the framework of the credit policy have obtained appropriate approvals.
Administer financial security from the customers to the value of $1 Billion and bank guarantees from suppliers of $400 Million. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and preferably Energy Risk Professional (ERP) qualifications.
7-8 years’ experience in Credit Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or similar role in Treasury within the Oil & Gas Industry.

Commercial Manager – Qatar

1. Build and maintain constructive relations with all stakeholders at different levels; 2. Display effective communication and proven presentation skills to be able to influence at the highest levels, whilst maintaining excellent listening skills; 3. Draft, review, distribute and follow-up to achieve full execution of all Joint Facilities Documents (new agreements and amendments) which include, but are not limited to ownership, operating services, utilities supply, land lease, cost sharing and cost recovery; 4. Take a lead role in contractual and commercial negotiations in accordance with contracting principles, ensuring risk mitigation and commercial optimisation; 5. Fleet Superintendent (Marine) – Qatar

Job Purpose Ensure the Qatargas chartered LNG fleet provides safe, reliable and efficient transportation of LNG to meet contractual obligations to Qatargas customers. Responsible for commercial availability and adherence to and compliance with the nautical and operational standard. Job Accountabilities Monitors Marine related activities which could impact commercial availability of assigned LNG vessels. Reviews vessel performance to identify potential efficiency improvement opportunities and performs Charterers supervisory functions during any required attendance during maintenance operations and at dry dockings. Reviews, on periodic basis and in consultation with Technical colleagues, the level of depot spares. Provides financial and technical justification to Head of Fleet for any marine related budgets or expenditure which they wish to propose on assigned vessels. Contributor to the scope of work for high value tenders for which there is a fiscal exposure to Charterer on assigned vessels. Provides input into and recommendations for contractor pre-qualification and reviews technical bids on assigned vessels and proposes recommendations to Head of Fleet for contract award. Contribute to the development of annual operating budgets for assigned LNG vessels which are under Cost Pass Through Agreements. Controls and reviews all Cost Pass Through related operating expenses for assigned LNG vessels and reports regularly on variances to Head of Fleet. Responsible for the annual inspection and support the vetting program of vessels calling to Qatargas terminals at Ras Laffan Port. Monitors and follows up that work reports, where appropriate, are prepared and submitted by Owner/Operator for all maintenance work carried out. Produces specialized nautical related reports as required, such as recommendations for improvements to ensure continuity of LNG exports and submits to Head of Fleet for review. Contributes and participates as required in the pre-qualification process of Operators for long-term projects. Provides nautical input as requested into any Shipping related aspects of Qatargas Emergency Response Plan development and upgrading. Monitors nautical operational performance of the ships to verify compliance with all charter party agreements and ensure adherence with industry and regulatory standards – especially protection of the environment. Minimum Requirements Master Mariner certificate of competency (Class 1) or a bachelor’s degree in Shipping studies complemented by relevant seagoing experience at a senior level of responsibility, preferably as Master on LNG / LPG or oil Tankers.
8 years’ experience in Oil/Gas Marine Operations / Transportation.
Knowledgeable and experienced in vessel operations, Principles of Navigation and related systems with basic understanding of technical aspects of vessel repairs and technical operation. Knowledgeable in LNG Marine Loading Utilities, Facilities and berth requirements.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of SHE standards and requirements as they relate to the Oil/Gas/Shipping Industries and the Marine Environment.

Process Engineer – Qatar

Plans, directs and participates in providing process technology related services for the plant and the offshore field location. Initiates studies, conducts process audits and recommends plant/field modifications to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, cost savings and technology updates. Provides process design and engineering for plant modification projects.
B.Sc. in Chemical engineering.
8 years’ process design and engineering experience in the oil and gas industry or in a similar plant with experience in natural gas production, treating and processing, acid gas removal, sulfur production and low temperature processing and fractionation and detailed knowledge of process engineering calculations and knowledge of the use of computer programs of process simulation and equipment design..
Very good written and spoken English.
Computer literacy, involving the use of database and spreadsheet software.

Senior SEQ Systems Engineer – Qatar

Lead the effort to manage the HSE&Q management systems by:• Ensuring SEQ Policies, Procedures and Standards are of the highest standard. • Coordinating Internal management systems audits and reviews • Leading assigned continuous improvement efforts.• Develop and maintain Qatargas SEQ Management Systems to the highest standards (Policies, Procedures and misc documents) in coordination with SEQ Divisions and affected departments at various levels.• Plan and lead internal audits on various SEQ themes and as per QGMS and external certification needs.• Assist Qatargas in obtaining and maintaining QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (14001), OHSAS (18001) and other assigned certifications, and suggest corrective and preventive actions through Management Systems during Plant operations and shutdowns.• Plan and lead SHE&Q Investigations covering important incidents and interfacing with higher authorities to identify gaps in SEQ systems.• Provide SEQ Systems training. Coordinate the participation in external remuneration and benefits surveys and provide the HR Department with benchmark data analysis. Coordinate Global Mobility assignee calculations and monitoring of third party payments including tax payments and agreed services.The post holder works under the auspices of the Agreements & Market Survey Lead and the Head of Compensation and Policy. The post holder is required to exercise judgment within the context of established Qatargas policies and guidelines. Senior Internal Auditor -Operations – Qatar

Specific Role Purpose
Lead or participate in audits of Operations, Engineering, major projects and contracts, performed in accordance with IIA standards and to the highest professional level. Accountabilities Lead or participates in operations, engineering major project and contract audits as assigned by the Head of Audit.
Develops or participates in development of audit plans for audit assignments as required by the Head of Audit or Lead Auditor. Defines the audit scope, objectives and audit program steps.

Head of Training – Qatar

Manage in coordination with Line Management and Line Supervision the planning and execution of all training and competency programs in Operation Group within the planned time frame and in compliance to the approved expense plan. Develop and implement training strategies, plans and processes to support the Operations Group departments’ objectives for Staff technical competencies and integration of Qatari Nationals. Responsible for planning, organizing, leading and supervising training section and continuously enhancing the processes to improve the efficiency of training services offered. Confer with management to identify training needs based on company direction and facilities changes, and coordinates with Asset and Division Managers, Division Heads, Superintendents and Line Supervision, and other Department Managers / Heads to ensure that personnel staff training and Qataris development meet organizational objectives and relevant certifications.
