Senior PA Supervisor – Employee Relations – Qatar

Lead and supervise the routine and non-routine activities of the Employee Relations team to address employee related issues. Qatargas workforce is a multi-national and multi-cultural environment; this requires constant establishing and developing of effective work relations. Work is performed in a wide range of settings. Work can be irregular and unpredictable and can be stressful at times.
Ability to analyse complex situations, interpret regulations, policies and procedures and synthesise relevant data from a variety of sources into a formal report with realistic recommendations for actions.
Ability to analyse information gathered for the purposes of developing recommendations and/or making decisions, which is integral to ensuring the Qatargas Covenants are maintained as well as and the credibility of the function.

Key Job Accountabilities Ensures the application of policies relating to working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary, grievance and absence management. Monitors the application of the Qatargas Covenants promoting fairness, equity and diversity as part of the culture of the Company. Works closely with departments in assisting line managers and supervisors to understand and implement HR policies and procedures. Coaches and consults with supervisors on appropriate actions and strategies relating to ensuring employee discipline, explaining applicable policies and procedures, how to communicate with and counsel employees in specific contexts and on the proper methods of disciplining and discharging employees. Coordinates with the Legal Department in the analysis of complex cases and in determining next steps and represents the Company at external personnel-related tribunals, hearings and investigations. Follows up with Court authorities on matters relating to individual employees. Supervises and investigates grievances, harassment, absence and disciplinary cases; conducts effective interviews of concerned parties, extracts pertinent information, and produces the necessary investigation reports with recommendations. Ensures effective dispute resolution and the promotion of good working relationships. Implements the outcome of investigation reports, including the issue of warning letters and contract termination notices. Gathers and analyses trends emerging from employee surveys, town hall meetings, visit reports, audit investigation findings and exit interviews which may impact morale, motivation, security and efficiency in the workplace. Liaise with the Chief Medical Officer on employee cases with a medical dimension and follows up on sick leaves and employees’ medical cases, including recommendation for termination of contract on medical grounds. Liaise with employees and/or their families in event of mishaps, accidents or fatalities to ensure availability of appropriate, timely support and follow up with Insurance Division and associated agencies on necessary insurance-related payments to employees and their families. Maintains comprehensive and confidential case records. Composes and issues statistical reports, warnings and advisories as required by the situation.

Senior Commercial Analyst – Qatar

Job Purpose: Develop and maintain all necessary economic models, conduct fundamental market analysis, provide analytical support for new and existing sales opportunities and support QG’s external reputation. Key Accountabilities: Modelling – • Maintain project economic models in order to evaluate the financial impact of proposed changes to the sales portfolio and other key changes in parameters, e.g. fiscals or yields, for both the State and Shareholders primarily in terms of IRR, NPV, and cash flow.
• Develop new and continuously improve existing economic models and evaluations, as required and directed by the Head of Economic Evaluation.
Analysis – • Provide accurate, reliable and timely intelligence to the Marketing Department and C&S Management with regards to existing and potential competitors and customers and develop a view on fundamental developments in the natural gas and LNG industry affecting the prospects for Qatargas’ LNG.
• Evaluate proposals for new and existing LNG sales in relation to quantities, pricing, shipment size, method of payment and other relevant terms and conditions and develop recommendations and counter-proposals based on solid market intelligence and data analysis.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of short, medium and long-term LNG Marketing Strategies and Plans.
• Maintain a marketing database and analytical tools to support Marketing objectives.
• Conduct cost and benefits analysis of activities by reviewing existing processes/systems and recommending potential improvements.
Other Business Support – • Support the enhancement of Qatargas’ external reputation by preparing speeches, presentations, industry reports and other external content as and when required. Minimum Requirements:
• 8 years professional experience in a business support or marketing role in the hydrocarbon industry including 3 years in a LNG corporation.
• Knowledge of all aspects of economic analysis and preparation and interpretation of economic models associated with LNG sales contracts.

Senior Operator (Offshore) – Qatar

Senior Operator
Carry out routine check of the plant operating condition, sampling, checking of running condition of equipment. Completion of Senior Secondary Education (12 years) plus Technical Training together with 6 years of experience in Production Operations in the Offshore platform (wells experience) with the Oil and Gas Industry or similar. Dehydration unit and pigging operation experience (cleaning pig and batch pigging). Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
Carries out routine checks of plant operating conditions in accordance with set schedules. Includes taking samples, recording readings, checking running condition of equipment, etc. Monitors plant operations on site. Includes adjusting local set points and gauges to accommodate fluctuations in operations, reports major abnormalities to Supervisor as required. Opens and shuts various valves manually. Starts and stops pumps and rotating equipment in accordance with set procedures and Supervisor’s instructions. Carries out minor maintenance and housekeeping duties as required. Includes greasing, cleaning and replacing minor parts on plant and equipment. Calculates various well tests to determine well parameter such as gas production, gas and condensate ratios, etc.

Contracts Specialist – Qatar

Specific Role Purpose:
Should be able to lead high value and complex tenders from end-to-end, within the company KPIs and bring best value for money to the company. Able to provide specialist knowledge and guidance to Contracts Engineers and Contracts Administrators within the team. Make recommendations for continuous improvement of the systems and process, and to bring best practices in the industry by leading such project implementation. Specific Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for all allocated PRs tendering and contracts activities such as strategies, approvals, preparation and issuance of tenders and contracts, clarifications, site visits, bid evaluation and award of contracts, signing and execution of contracts. 2. Handles post contract related activities like PBG, Insurance, issuance of change orders if any, Performance of Contractors, settlement of disputes and claims, cancellation/termination of contracts as required. 3. Prepare all documents for management and tender committee approvals. 4. Day-to-day interaction with end user Departments, Legal, HSE, Finance Departments and Contractors to ensures that all tender related activities are executed as per established policy and procedures. 5. Keeps track of latest industry and business practices. Conducts commercial negotiations and derives suitable commercial strategy towards cost savings for Company. 6. Review and provide solutions/advice in certain cases of post contract award issues with Contractors or end users including providing interpretations and settlement of contractor claims. 7. Mentor National employees and subordinate staff so they can develop their knowledge and capability. 8. Provide subject matter expertise in the input for scope of works and pricing model developments. Improve procedures, systems and processes and conduct alignment meetings. 9. Prepare the Demand plan in consultation and review with end user Departments and monitors the progress against actuals. Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent with 8 years’ experience in tendering and contracts management within the Oil and Gas industry. 2. Computer literacy, including working knowledge of ERP business software programs, networking and SAP. 3. Strong analytical, organizational & planning skills. 4. Knowledge of local, regional or international markets 5. Detailed understanding of Company business and industry practices. 6. Basic understanding of plant processes/production.

Senior Electrical Technician (Offshore based) – Qatar

Apply trade skills to routine / non-routine plant maintenance, installation and repair of equipment within allocated timeframes, whilst adhering to safety procedures. Carry out routine / non routine plant maintenance, installation and repair activities. Responsible for completing work according to allocated timeframes and to high craft standards. Provide coaching to technicians and monitor progress in order to meet agreed work schedules and deadlines. Identify potential problems and resolves if able to or escalates when necessary. Ensures proper and adequate supplies of spare parts and consumables are available for planned activities in order to maintain continuity of work progress. Inspect received equipment, ensure correct consignments are received and prepare work / discrepancy reports. Maintain tools and equipment in optimum condition. Attend to routine / emergency callouts outside working hours. Ensure the workplace is kept clean, prepare work permits and ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner as per company procedures. Completion of Higher secondary school (12 years) education, followed by vocational training program (TAFE / NCVT) plus 6 years’ experience as a technician for internal or for external and two years technical / vocational program and 5 years’ direct offshore Electrical working experience in maintenance experience of which 3 years’ experience as a technician within the Oil and Gas industry. Established technical skills. Good command of written and spoken English.

Senior Drilling Engineer – Qatar

Plans, and prepares for the Drilling and Recompletion campaigns.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science, majoring in Engineering in the area of Specialization from an accredited university.
Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in Drilling Engineering and/or operations, preferably with major operating / service companies, national oil companies or major international oil companies. Experience in Drilling engineering, well Design, rig operations and drilling logistics management. Familiarity with drilling complications in different types of reservoir, especially carbonate and depleted reservoir’s in sour gas field environment.Fluent in written and verbal English and capable of writing Drilling Programs, reports, Deviation requests and End of Well Reports. Proficiency in MS Office and any of the common drilling software packages.

Facilities Engineer (CSP) – Qatar

1. Basic Function and Scope :
Analyzes existing or proposed process, utilities, storage and other support systems
for the off-shore production facilities and onshore plant. Prepares or reviews design
work connected with multi-disciplinary projects, modifications and alternations to
existing systems, or the installation of new equipment and systems, whether done inhouse
by the Maintenance Department or through outside contractors. Studies and
analyses complex or recurring problems relating to process, utilities, storage and
other support systems, and recommends appropriate solutions. Works with other
specialist discipline engineers in the maintenance and updating of engineering
drawings, standards, specifications, manual, and data books.
2. Tasks and Duties :
a Studies engineering drawings and visits Company’s sites to become
thoroughly familiar with working conditions, the detailed arrangement of the
facilities, and the function of the various components.
b. Acts as the focal point for consolidating specialist input from process,
mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, structural and construction
engineers on matters pertaining to development of complete project scopes.
Provides expert technical advice to management and other
departments/divisions as required, particularly on the subjects of piping,
valves, actuators, fittings, heaters, coolers, exchangers, filters, flares,
vessels, nozzles and tanks. Also assists in troubleshooting complex or
recurring problems and recommends sound and cost effective solutions to
the problems that arise.
c. Works with other specialist discipline engineers to ensure that all drawings,
standards, specifications, manuals and data books are up-to-date and “asbuilt”,
and directs draftsmen and technical assistants to carry out all
corrections to reflect any alterations, modifications and additions to
equipment and systems.
d. Works with other specialist discipline engineers to carry out various duties
related to modifications, improvements and alterations to be executed by the
Maintenance Department. These duties include conducting feasibility studies,
developing cost estimates in conjunction with the Cost & Contracts Engineer,
preparing preliminary designs and specifications, preparing or reviewing
consultant’s design drawings, preparing capital authorization requests,
preparing bills of materials, participating in preparing purchase orders,
following up on quotations, conducting technical bid analyses, recommending
suppliers or contractors, and answering queries from vendors.
e. Supervises the implementation of minor modification and improvement
projects carried out in-house to ensure execution and completion to
established Company standards and specifications. Performs project
engineering duties (including cost control, scheduling, contract preparation
and administration, etc.) when assigned as the Project Engineer.
f. Carries out assigned duties to major modifications and improvements to
existing facilities, or the installation of new facilities, to be executed by
outside contractors. Includes participating in technical bid analyses,
reviewing design drawings submitted by contractors and proposing
amendments as necessary, specifying materials and equipment to be used,
and supervising the execution of work to ensure compliance with drawings
and Company specifications and standards. Attends meetings with
contractors as necessary.
g. Reviews and checks invoices submitted by contractors, ensures compliance
with work satisfactorily completed, makes necessary corrections, and
submits to supervisor regarding new techniques, equipment and materials
which may benefit the Company and its operations.
h . Stays abreast of state-of-the-art developments in gas production and
processing systems engineering, and provides regular advice and
information to supervisor regarding new techniques, equipment and materials
which may benefit the Company and its operations.
i. Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality
policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities
related to his job as spelled out in Management system documentation,
policies, procedures, local documentation, Management System Manual,
Safety Manual and other related documents.
j. Carries out other similar or related duties as per the direction from the
Manager. Minimum Requirements:
a. Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Structural Engineering.
b. 8 years’ experience in designing, building, operating, monitoring and maintaining production and processing equipment and associated systems in the petroleum industry. Includes 4 years in multi-discipline project
environment, with good skills in organization of work, planning and scheduling of activities, and performance of cost control responsibilities.
c. Very good written and spoken English
d. High computer literacy in both office and technical applications.

Head of Communications (PR) – Qatar

Plan, Lead, and Direct the PR Communications & Planning Division in developing, implementing main communication strategies, tools and PR programs. Key Job Accountabilities Measurement Direct media management strategies for projects and Company activities and manage relations with local, regional and international media and ensure Company develops effective media responses through message development, training of spokespeople and adherence to media protocol.
Lead the PR crisis management team to include their training and competence development to ensure an effective crisis management plan and arrangements are in place. Plan and contribute to the annual Reputation Management and implement the section process, including establishing priorities and deliverables. Ensure all media releases and other external communication materials are of high quality and fit for the purpose. Manage and approve the production of all marketing materials and act as the custodian and police of the QG brand internally and externally. Direct and implement issues management processes of the Company to ensure robust and consistent approach to issues including the development of appropriate message and communications activities to support issues management.
Develop and control editorial policy and production deadlines for Qatargas publications to ensure the theme of the articles is suitable and review all publications issued by Department and provide recommendations and advise senior management on presentations/speeches to ensure contents are in line with overall corporate messages. Review, update section Policy and procedures , conduct its roll-out program and assure adherence to said policy in order to ensure that activities are within QG standards and corporate image is protected.
