Refractory Insulation Supervisor – Qatar

Specific Role Purpose: Refractory/Insulation Supervisor (Fabric Maintenance Supervisor) is to manage established contracts, quantity estimation and active participation in the procurement of refractory /insulation materials on time, and safe execution of work at site with contracted manpower. He is to handle the demand of Refractory lining maintenance activity as follows, identification of required materials on time to order, coordination with vendor & contractor for safe, timely and cost effective execution.
He will be responsible to supervise the Maintenance work, including check and verification of drawings & details, specification requirements, preparing the Method Statement, JSA, work execution and management of works to minimize the cost of Maintenance activities, follow maintenance procedures continuously to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Specific Accountabilities:
Supervises and coordinates works according to established procedures, policies and approved programs. With these parameters, exercises judgment in planning and organizing work, deciding immediate priorities, setting standards, checking and accepting work. Job includes regular maintenance, planning for the shutdown, timely completion with safety and quality, prepare and submit reports. Technical Bid Evaluation for all materials and contracts.
Specific Requirements (Technical Competency): HND or Bachelor degree or equivalent in Ceramic Engineering with specialization in Refractory. Overall 15 + years’ experience in the refractory line, with minimum 5 years’ experience in refractory installation & repair works in the Oil & Gas in the supervisory position with maintenance and shut down experience. Familiar with International standards. Gulf experience is preferred. Good spoken English, ability to write technical reports. Computer literature, shall be able perform MS office, internet and basic computer applications. Ability to read refractory design drawings.

Experience in the field of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry handling Tank Farm Storage and Loading Jetty facilities of the products: LPG, Naphtha, Diesel, Kero-Jet, Base Oil, Field Condensate etc. At least 6 years in a similar Oil and Gas processing facility in LNG plant, LPG Plant, Refinery, Gas Treatment Plant, Olefin Plant, Sulfur forming, Storage and Loading facilities and Terminal Operations in the same position. Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate must have a Secondary education or Higher National Diploma / NCVT or equivalent followed by 1 year formal plant training in job related area together with a minimum of 6 to 8 years working experience in the field of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry handling Tank Farm Storage and Loading Jetty facilities of the products: LPG, Naphtha, Diesel, Kero-Jet, Base Oil, Field Condensate etc. At least 2 years in a similar oil and gas processing facility in LNG plant, LPG Plant, Refinery, Gas Treatment Plant, Olefin Plant, Sulfur forming, Storage and Loading facilities and Terminal Operations in the same position.

Senior Internal Auditor – I T – Qatar

Job Purpose:
Conducts, plans and executes internal audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of information reported and compliance with policies and procedures. Provide I.T. auditing subject matter expertise for the Internal Audit Department in order to ensure that:-• QG information systems and technology are properly audited; and • QG Internal Audit Department makes appropriate use of available technology. Key Accountabilities:
1. Plans audits by analyzing business processes and preparing risk assessments to determine the controls to be tested. Defines the audit scope, objectives and audit program steps in order to test the system of controls and obtains approval for the plan from the Head and/or CIA. Formulates and agrees audit plans, scope and objectives with auditees.
2. Detailed planning and execution of I.T. audits.
3. Conducts audit fieldwork by coordinating audits teams and testing controls and compliance with policies, procedures and agreed practices.
4. Prepares internal audit reports, audit plans, progress reports, and early reports on potential significant findings.
5. Conducts follow-up of prior audit observations to ensure agreed actions are implemented by the Auditee.
6. Trains and develops Auditors “on the job” regarding IAD standards, audit process, company business and processes, observation and report writing, in order to ensure continuous development of IAD talent pool.
7. Conducts special reviews under supervision of Head or Audit Specialist as requested by CIA in order to address specific concerns of senior management.
8. Support other audits by providing subject matter expertise on I.T. controls.

10. Lead and conduct other non-I.T. audits as required. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/ Engineering and relevant post-graduate / professional qualifications, e.g. in I.T. / Computing MSc, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor.

Systems Analyst I (Security) – Qatar

Recognizes successful intrusions and compromises through review and analysis of relevant event detail information.
Responsible for working in a rotational 24×7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment.Knowledge in the following: Firewalls, Intrusion detection and prevention systems, anti-virus and content filtering, URL filtering, authentication solutions, switches, routers, VoIP, DMZ.

Head of Planning & Well Performance – Qatar

Lead, execute and maintain well surveillance and performance processes that lead to identify risk and opportunities. Forecast and plan production/injection from Qatargas wells/reservoirs to LNG plant to meet Company targets. 1. Ensure participation in studies related to well performance and provide validated data and information in a timely manner.2. Determine production requirements for field development to maintain volume deliverability at target rates while optimizing recovery of reserves. Identifies threats for improving production performance or addition of gas capacity from the existing production block.3. Ensure processes are in place to identify production shortfalls and analyse their origin in order to find counter-measures. 4. Advise whether additional data acquisitions are required and directs special studies/analysis to understand production performance abnormalities. Collaborates with various technical teams to include issues in studies related to wells/reservoir impacting production performance. 5. Ensure programs, procedures and tools are available to complete production surveillance and performance reviews. 6. Lead upstream gas production volume planning by initiating input gathering from functional planners in line with annual corporate planning cycle.7. Ensure completeness of input data and correct estimation of feedgas from wells to LNG trains.8. Coordinate integration and optimization of the multi-disciplinary activity plans in order to maximize the business outcomes (Gas Production and Reserves) within the resource constraints (Opex, Capex, onshore/offshore resources).9. Reservoir Engineer – Qatar

Participates in reservoir engineering studies, reservoir performance synthesis studies, Production Logging (PL) and Pressure Transient Analysis (PTA) synthesis or reservoir surveillance data acquisition.1. Designs and interprets pressure transient tests, production logging data, production tests and interference tests and provides final reports.2. Control & Instrumentation Engineer – Qatar

Basic Function and Scope: The Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer supports the Project Management Team (PMT) during FEED as well as detailed engineering, construction, commissioning and start up phases of the Project. Ensure that the C&I design and installation meet the Project safety, environmental, operational, quality, cost, design, and schedule objectives. An ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team is required as well as strong computer literacy. Tasks and Duties:• Responsible for control system design for the facilities and ensures that the work is executed in a coordinated way to meet the project objectives and the plant can be operated and controlled with minimum operator intervention. • Facilitate and coordinate all C&I design, detailed engineering and construction work related to the project to adhere to project schedule. Evaluate/comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of C&I design drawings, documents, and specifications. Steward C&I engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests.• Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to project procedures. • Participate and contribute in project design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL reviews. Participate in C&I engineering 3D model reviews and design reviews. • Conduct meetings with the contractor and vendors to ensure smooth progress of control and instrument activities. Conduct project team member briefing sessions with respect to C&I engineering requirements and processes. Coordinate owner and PMT C&I engineering portions of design reviews including 3D model review to minimize disruption of the contractor’s work.• Directs and oversees the activities of inspection, monitoring and certifying the quality of instruments and equipment and project installations. Reviews inspection programs, inspections, FAT and SAT on systems and components related to control and instrument function. • Steward the process of capturing and communicate C&I engineering and design lessons learned for the project.• Support Engineering Manager in stewarding the contractor’s activities with respect to C&I engineering execution to ensure that all relevant parties are familiar with engineering execution plans, procedures, objectives, and overall job requirements, contractor staffs the project with adequate numbers of qualified personnel, contractor employs the appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software, contractor adheres to all appropriate specifications and standards, contractor provides all engineering deliverables, commissioning and 2-year operations spares as per contract. Senior Plant Safety Officer – Qatar

Ensure the implementation of SEQ programs to provide a safe and enviornmentally compliant work enviornment for Qatargas and contractor personnel in all onshore and offshore locations and assist in the supervision of Technicians and Trainees.
1. Coordinate and plan the activities of SEQ personnel in order to provide for the delivery of approved SEQ programs.
2. Develop, recommend and conduct training programs in safety principles and practices.
3. Ensure the effectiveness and on demand use of SEQ equipment and facilities are kept in best working condition by coordinating and monitoring preventive maintenance programs in order to ensure optimum operational status and readiness for use.
4. Coordinate the implementation of the “permit to work”, covering hote maintenance work and vessel entry procedures.
5. Act as a source of guidance in investigating incidents and participate in the preparation, review and assesment of statictics.
6. Inspect new projects construction/installation work to ensure contractor personnel are aware of, and comply with Qatargas SEQ practices and regulations.
7. Ensure that adequate stocks of SEQ related and emergency equipment and protective clothing are equipoped at all times.

Business Continuity Management Specialist – Qatar

Job Purpose:To lead and supervise the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the corporate Business Continuity Management (BCM) program, ensuring it is fully embedded and integrated in the organization. This is a key role in ensuring that Qatargas remains a risk aware and resilient organisation.
Key Accountabilities:Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of BCM, including -• Coordinate the implementation of various business continuity strategies owned by different entities in Qatargas.• Lead the periodic review and update of business impact assessments.• Manage the update of key documentation such as department business continuity plans.• Design and facilitate exercises to test departmental business continuity plans and capture lessons learnt. • Work closely with emergency response teams to jointly design and conduct major incident response exercises incorporating the business continuity response.• Identify, train and guide departmental business continuity management coordinators to enhance BCM culture and competencies across the organisation.• Support / collaborate with the enterprise risk management program to ensure close alignment / integration between risk mitigation and business continuity.• Design and deliver appropriate level of reports for Qatargas senior management and shareholders.• Represent Qatargas at stakeholder / shareholder committee meetings. Completions Engineer – Qatar

Basic Function and Scope:The Completions Engineer executes the integrated systems completions/start-up program. Between the Construction and Operations phases, he manages effective execution systems completions/acceptance tasks and identification/mitigation of “look ahead” activities critical to ensuring an orderly integration of Producing Facilities. Provides guidance, training, and oversight regarding systems completions to the Qatargas PMT Start-Up Organization and Contractor’s Systems Completion Organization. Tasks and Duties:• Assist in the development and sourcing of the Systems Completions Organization.• Assist development of the Systems Completions Plan.• Manages a computerized Completion Management System (CMS) for tracking, certification, and quality purposes. Develop and monitor systems completions database of engineering parameters, check sheets, and verification criteria.• Involve Operation representatives in all aspects of familiarization and training on plant equipment and systems according to the requirements the Operability Management Plan.• Under auspices of the Systems Completions and working with the EPC contractors’ manage to:1. Provide onsite leadership to ensuring safe execution systems completions and commissioning.2. Provide guidance and participate in activities concerning Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Turnover of equipment and systems.3. Development of Completions Management Procedures and functional and inspection checks, startup and operating, loop testing, Permit to Work (PTW), and preparation of Completion Dossiers, etc.4.
